Greg Easley
Began his ballet training with Eugene Slavin and Alexandra Nadal at Austin Civic Ballet (now Ballet Austin). He continued his studies with Stanley Hall at Austin Ballet Theatre and went on to co-direct Texas National Dance Theater. He then joined the Atlanta Ballet under the direction of Bobby Barnett where he worked with Tom Pazik, Sonia Arova, & Thor Sutowski. Greg returned to Austin and guested with Ballet Austin before accepting the artistic directorship of Austin Contemporary Ballet. He later joined the teaching staff of Ballet Austin where he taught for many years and developed and taught the Ballet Fit program for them. Greg has choreographed numerous ballets, musicals for Zach Theater and operas for Austin Lyric Opera. Greg is proud and so pleased to be back with his original teachers teaching ballet and Ballet Fit.
Deirdre O’Connor
Began taking ballet lessons at age 6, at the Ruth Page Foundation in Chicago, Illinois. She performed as a paid professional for the first time at age 8, when she was selected for the children’s cast of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” with New York City Ballet at the Ravinia Festival. Deirdre came to Austin at age 20 to dance for the Slavins at the newly-formed Ballet Austin, where she remained for a decade. From dancing, she moved on to teaching, coaching, and choreographing both in the US and abroad. She has taught at the Touzer Ballet School in Dallas, TX, Austin Contemporary Ballet Academy, Bowie High School, Tanzhaus Friedrichstadt in Dresden, Germany, and the Ballet Austin Academy, among other places. She was hired by the Joffrey Ballet as Ballet Master for the cast of 150 children for Robert Joffrey’s “Nutcracker” in 2001 and 2002. In recent years, Dee has become the proud mother of twin boys. She has also returned to work with the Slavins at the Slavin-Nadal School of Ballet, where she specializes in teaching Youth Beginning Pointe and Adult Beginning Ballet classes.
Tiffany Loos
Began her ballet training at the age of eight and has studied at Slavin-Nadal since 2005. Comprehensively certified through Body Arts and Science International and employed full time at Reform Pilates, she has been teaching Pilates since 2007. Tiffany studied yoga locally, taught for eight years, and incorporates yoga into her Pilates sessions on a regular basis. She also maintains her Texas massage license after completing introductory and advanced training through The Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage in Austin.
