Elementary I

Elementary I-A
For students 8 years and older who have completed the first level of ballet study. Students are taught elementary technique in simple combinations, with an increased emphasis on understanding terminology.

Schedule:
One class per week
Wednesday 5:30 to 6:30

DRESS CODE:
Girls: Short-sleeved or sleeveless, royal blue leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers. Hair in a bun, and all stray hair secured with bobby pins.

Boys: White t-shirt, navy blue shorts, white socks and white ballet slippers.

Elementary I-B
For students 9 years and older who have progressed to a more involved study of technique and ability to execute.  Center work and combinations are increasingly emphasized.

Schedule:
Two classes per week
Tuesday & Thursday 4:00 to 5:00

Girls: Short-sleeved or sleeveless, royal blue leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers. Hair in a bun, and all stray hair secured with bobby pins.

Boys: White t-shirt, navy blue shorts, white socks and white ballet slippers.
